A little history about our candle
This candle is named after Ellen Sirleaf. Ellen Sirleaf is a Liberian politician born in 1938. She made an impression by being the first woman elected head of state on the African continent. During her two terms (2006-2018), her government focused on maintaining peace. In 2011, along with two other women, Ellen was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts in women's rights.
